Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise grade full stack applicationsBuild Python based microservices and REST APIs at scaleDevelop intuitive, high performance React or Flutter user interfacesUse AI assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex, Microsoft 365 Copilot) as part of daily engineering workflowsReview, validate, and refine AI generated code to meet Optum's quality, security, and compliance standardsArchitect and deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies (blue green, canary, rolling)Implement secure by design practices (authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management)Collaborate with product, UX, data, platform, and security teamsMentor engineers and help scale AI assisted engineering best practices across teamsAI Assisted EngineeringDaily use of enterprise GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, Codex, Microsoft 365 Copilot)Prompt engineering for code, tests, documentation, and researchReviewing and validating AI generated codeCreating reusable AI instructions, workflows, or agentsApplying AI to improve developer productivity and qualityAI is not optional, it's part of how work gets doneComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
