Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and operating scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in TypeScript-based backend development, modern cloud-native architectures, observability practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
The candidate will play a key role in building resilient, secure, and highly available enterprise applications while driving engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript. Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures. Implement robust observability solutions including logging, monitoring, tracing, and ing.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using up-to-date IaC frameworks and tools. Collaborate with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Product teams to ensure reliable deployments and operational excellence. Optimize system performance, availability, and security across settings.
Participate in architectural discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews. Troubleshoot production issues and implement proactive monitoring strategies. Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
Must-Have Skills Strong experience in Backend TypeScript development (Node.js/NestJS/Express or similar frameworks). Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices. Hands-on experience with Observability tools and practices (monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, ing).
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of software design principles, scalability, and system reliability.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
