About the Role
Our client is looking for a strategic Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead operational excellence initiatives in their state-of-the-art facility in Chandigarh, Chandigarh . This leadership role is responsible for guiding a team of engineers, setting strategic direction for process improvement, and ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and productivity across all manufacturing operations. You will be at the forefront of implementing advanced industrial engineering techniques, optimizing complex systems, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers, fostering their professional development and ensuring high performance. Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for process improvement and operational efficiency across the organization. Oversee the design, implementation, and validation of new manufacturing processes, systems, and technologies. Champion lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma projects to achieve significant reductions in waste and cycle times. Collaborate with senior management to set operational goals and ensure alignment with business objectives. Conduct thorough root cause analyses for production issues and implement sustainable corrective actions. Requirements Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in a team leadership or management capacity. Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and driving substantial operational improvements. Deep understanding of lean manufacturing , Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt certification preferred), and statistical process control (SPC). Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in CAD, simulation software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
