Lead / Principal Visual Designer
We are looking for an experienced Lead / Principal Visual Designer on a contract basis(INSIDE IR350 to shape the visual direction and digital experience of a large-scale, customer-facing product. You will translate brand strategy into compelling, accessible, and engaging digital experiences across web and native mobile platforms, working closely with Product Designers, UX researchers, strategists, and engineering teams. The role combines strategic design leadership with hands-on visual craft, interaction design, motion, and prototyping, ensuring high-quality, scalable experiences that delight users while supporting business objectives.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
10+ years of experience designing digital products, with robust expertise in Visual Design, UI Design, Interaction Design, and Motion Design.
Lead the visual design strategy and establish quality standards across interfaces, animations, micro-interactions, and digital experiences.
Translate brand identity, design systems, typography, colour, illustration, and tone of voice into consistent, engaging digital products.
Collaborate with Product Designers, UX Researchers, Strategists, and Engineering teams to transform concepts into customer-validated solutions.
Create high-fidelity UI designs, interactive prototypes, and motion-rich experiences using tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, After Effects, or equivalent.
Design intuitive user journeys, applying visual hierarchy, interaction patterns, accessibility, and inclusive design (WCAG) principles.
Contribute to and evolve design systems, reusable UI components, interaction patterns, and scalable design standards across web and native applications.
Mentor designers, lead design critiques, present concepts to senior stakeholders, and champion design excellence across Agile product teams.
