QA Engineering Manager AI & Automation
Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on QA Engineering Manager to lead the transformation of quality engineering using AI-assisted testing, automation and modern QA practices. The role will focus on scalable test automation, intelligent regression testing, AI-assisted test case generation, defect analysis and root-cause analysis for our insurance technology platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the QA automation and AI-driven quality engineering strategy.
Build and maintain scalable end-to-end test automation using Playwright.
Use Claude/GenAI tools for test case generation, automation development and test maintenance.
Develop AI-assisted regression testing and change-impact-based test selection.
Use AI to support defect analysis, duplicate detection and root-cause analysis.
Automate functional, API, integration and end-to-end testing.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Build reusable QA frameworks, tools and automation accelerators.
Work closely with Product, BA, Engineering and Architecture teams to improve quality and test coverage.
Mentor QA engineers and drive adoption of AI-assisted testing practices.
AI / GenAI Experience
Hands-on experience with Claude or Claude Code and other AI tools for software testing.
Experience with AI-assisted test case and test data generation.
Experience using AI for Playwright automation creation and maintenance.
Experience with AI-assisted regression analysis and test prioritization.
Experience with AI-assisted defect analysis and RCA.
Understanding of prompt engineering, context engineering and AI agents.
MCP, RAG or AI agent experience is an advantage.
Required Technical Skills
12 -15+ years of QA / Quality Engineering experience.
5+ years of QA leadership or management experience.
Robust hands-on experience with Playwright and test automation.
Strong API, integration and end-to-end .
