Lead Quality Assurance Engineer Customer Delivery

Lead Quality Customer Delivery (P&C Insurance) Coimbatore Role Overview We are an insurtech company focused exclusively on P&C insurance. As a Quality Manager in the Customer Delivery organization, you will be responsible for establishing and driving quality practices across customer implementations on our policy administration platform. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and configuration teams to ensure that insurance products, forms, workflows, and rating logic are configured accurately and delivered with high quality. This role requires a strong understanding of structured testing methodologies, process improvement, and the ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to improve quality outcomes and delivery efficiency. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain quality standards, testing frameworks, and validation processes for insurance product configuration, forms, workflows, and rating logic Review configured solutions against source documents, business requirements, and rating specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency Lead defect management activities, including triage, root cause analysis, trend identification, and preventive action planning Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery processes using structured quality methodologies and measurable quality metrics Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and development teams to establish quality checkpoints throughout the implementation lifecycle Build and maintain quality dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and delivery scorecards to provide visibility into quality performance and improvement opportunities Evaluate, adopt, and contribute to AI-enabled solutions for test case generation, test automation, defect analysis, and quality monitoring Mentor team members on testing best practices, insurance domain concepts, and quality-focused delivery approaches Required Skills and Experience 610 years of experience in quality assurance, quality management, business analysis, or delivery roles, with significant exposure to enterprise software implementations Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect management, and quality governance practices Ability to analyze complex business requirements and validate configured solutions against expected outcomes Experience designing test cases and test strategies for rule-driven or configurable systems Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and drive process improvements Experience working with project and delivery management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms Interest in AI and automation, with the ability to evaluate and implement AI-driven quality improvements Nice to Have Prior experience in P&C insurance or insurtech Familiarity with insurance rating logic, policy forms, underwriting workflows, and bureau-based rating content Experience with policy administration systems or no-code/low-code platforms Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent process improvement certification Experience building quality metrics, dashboards, and operational reporting frameworks Skills Required Business Analysis, Defect Management, Test Strategies, Testing Methodologies, Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Jira, Azure Devops, Process Improvement .
