## Lead Quality EngineerApplylocations: PUNE 05time type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R55209## **At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.**Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related engineering discipline**Experience*** 10+ years in QA / software testing* Experience in PLM or materials domain preferred**Skills & Competencies*** Strong expertise in manual testing (ISTQB preferred)* Understanding of web-based application testing and CAE/FEA concepts* Exposure to automation tools (Selenium/Playwright preferred)* Working knowledge of Windows/Linux and databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)* Basic programming in Java, Python, or JavaScript* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills**Key Responsibilities*** Own end-to-end testing for web-based engineering applications* Design and execute functional and non-functional test strategies* Perform requirement analysis, test design, execution, and defect tracking* Act as customer-facing technical lead for issue analysis and solutioning* Support and contribute to automation and AI-driven testing initiatives* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery* Drive improvements in test coverage and efficiency**Preferred*** Agile/Scrum exposure* Experience with security testing and CI/CD tools .
