01Overview
What Youll Do
- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud Build.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability and operational excellence.
- Ensure infrastructure scalability, performance, security, and high availability across production environments.
- Lead incident management activities, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and develop disaster recovery strategies to improve system resilience.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve application reliability using DevOps and SRE best practices.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and security compliance.
- Develop automation scripts and continuously improve infrastructure management and deployment processes.
What You Know
- Must have 10+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
- Should have strong hands-on experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Must have expertise in GCP services, including:
- Compute Engine
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Cloud Functions / Cloud Run
- Cloud Storage
- BigQuery
- Pub/Sub
- IAM and Networking
- Should possess strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.
- Must have experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud Build.
- Should have strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, Go, or Java.
- Must possess a solid understanding of Linux administration, networking, cloud architecture, and cloud security.
- Should have experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Google Cloud Monitoring.
- Must possess excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
