Job Description

Role Overview

You have an exciting opportunity to join as an Associate in the Legal Entity Controller Group (LEC). As part of the India Legal Entity Group Controller team, you will have oversight responsibility for the integrity of financial statement/regulatory reporting information recorded in managed legal entities. Your role will involve collaborating with business managers and product controllers to ensure legal entity implications of transactions are considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide coverage to Bank Branch for regulatory reporting, Local GAAP, statutory audits, regulatory automation agenda, concurrent audits, and regulatory inspections - Prepare, review, and submit regulatory returns while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements - Manage regulatory automation agenda for LEC - Review new product launches from regulatory, accounting, reporting, and control viewpoints - Ensure timely submission of all regulatory returns - Maintain accuracy in all reporting processes, identify discrepancies, and ensure all reports meet regulatory standards - Address any regulatory reporting issues promptly and accurately

Qualifications Required

- Possess a strong process and control mindset with keen attention to detail - Demonstrate maturity, independence, self-motivation, conscientiousness, and ability to work under pressure and drive changes - Exhibit good stakeholder management skills - Have strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative team player with a proactive approach Additional Details: This position requires a recognized professional accounting qualification and 5 to 10 years of banking experience in the banking industry, preferably in financial and regulatory reporting.
