About the Role
Muthoot Finance Limited is looking for enthusiastic and motivated LL.B. Graduates to join our Legal Department as Legal Interns. This internship offers practical exposure to litigation, legal documentation, debt recovery, and regulatory compliance in the Unsecured Personal Loans business. Candidates will work closely with experienced legal professionals and gain hands-on experience in both litigation and non-litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in handling litigation and non-litigation legal matters.
- Draft and review legal notices, replies, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Support legal proceedings under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, and regulatory updates.
- Coordinate with panel advocates, courts, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain legal case records, MIS reports, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing case briefs, evidence, and legal opinions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support recovery-related legal activities for unsecured personal loan cases.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. Graduate (Freshers are welcome to apply).
- Strong knowledge of Indian legal procedures and legal drafting.
- Basic understanding of the Negotiable Instruments Act and debt recovery laws.
- Positive communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
