Jon Summary
We are hiring an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 46 years of experience in Life Insurance Claims/Insurance Operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in claims processing, quality management, stakeholder communication, and team handling. The candidate will be responsible for mentoring team members, handling escalations, ensuring SLA compliance, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Process and review life insurance claims as per policy guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Validate claim documentation and perform accurate claim adjudication.
Interpret policy terms and ensure timely claim settlement.
Handle complex claims and customer escalations.
Monitor team productivity, quality, and SLA adherence.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of Claims Associates/Executives.
Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide on-the-job training.
Perform quality audits and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
Prepare MIS reports and analyze team performance metrics.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for issue resolution.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies, IRDAI regulations, and operational procedures .
