01Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management:
Deploy, monitor, and maintain Virtuozzo platforms (Hybrid Server, Hybrid Infrastructure, and Application Platform).
Incident Management &
Troubleshooting:
Process L2/L3 support tickets, diagnose virtualization/containerization issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
Resource Management:
Allocate server capacity, configure limits, and manage ISOs, OS templates, and compute resources.
Backups &
Security:
Handle platform backup policies, monitor system health, and apply security hardening or patches.
Partner/User Support:
Help clients and stakeholders troubleshoot virtual machines (VMs), Kubernetes clusters, and cloud settings.
Required Qualifications &
Skills:
Experience:
5+ years of experience administering Linux/Unix systems and virtualization technologies (KVM, QEMU, or Virtuozzo/OpenVZ).
OS Knowledge:
Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, including command-line troubleshooting, kernel management, and networking (iptables, routing).
Storage &
Cloud Concepts:
Familiarity with software-defined storage (SDS), S3, block/file storage, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Troubleshooting &
Communication:
Solid problem-solving skills with a track record of handling high-severity technical incidents and communicating effectively with partners. .
