ROLE OVERVIEW
The Logistics & Shipping Coordinator manages the shipping side of our orders remotely.
They source shipping rates from vendors, prepare the necessary shipping documentation,
and follow shipments closely from dispatch to delivery. A clear understanding of UAE shipping requirements is important, and the role calls for someone genuinely attentive who stays on top of every shipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Vendor quotes contact shipping vendors and freight forwarders to obtain and compare shipping prices.Shipment follow-up track and follow up on shipments from collection through to delivery, flagging any issues early.Documentation prepare shipping documents, including commercial invoices and packing lists.UAE requirements apply knowledge of UAE shipping, customs and documentation requirements to keep shipments moving smoothly.Coordination keep the sales coordinators and customers informed on shipment status.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience in logistics, shipping or freight forwarding.Familiarity with UAE shipping and customs requirements.Experience preparing commercial invoices, packing lists and related shipping documents.Good written and spoken English for dealing with vendors and customers.
