01Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with experience in the logistics domain to bridge the gap between business operations and technology teams. The candidate will be responsible for understanding logistics processes, gathering business requirements, analyzing operational challenges, and translating business needs into functional specifications for application development and process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to transportation, warehousing, distribution, freight operations, and logistics ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with business stakeholders, operations teams, finance, customer service, and IT teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyze existing logistics processes such as booking, pickup, transportation, transshipment, delivery, billing, freight calculation, POD management, and tracking.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
- Conduct requirement workshops and gap analysis sessions.
- Coordinate with development, QA, and support teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Validate functional solutions and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Monitor change requests, enhancements, and production issues and provide business impact analysis.
- Ensure solutions comply with operational processes, regulatory requirements, and customer commitments.
- Support implementation, rollout, user training, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and business insights for management review.
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives related to logistics automation and process optimization.
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain operations.
- Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and freight operations.
- Experience in requirement gathering and functional documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, reporting tools, and process mapping tools.
