01Overview
Key Responsibilities End-to-End Logistics Management: Oversee outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution for two-wheeler FG 3PL Vendor Management: Manage and coordinate with 3PL partners to ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, cost efficiency, and service quality. Conduct periodic reviews and audits.
Transportation Network Optimization: Design and implement efficient transportation routes and logistics networks to reduce cost and improve delivery timelines.
Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse operations aligned with production and distribution requirements.
Cost Control Budgeting: Monitor logistics costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage budgets effectively.
Process Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma (preferred, especially for Japanese OEM exposure).
Compliance Documentation: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and documentation practices related to logistics and transportation. Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with procurement, production, sales, and dealers to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Performance Tracking: Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, vehicle turnaround time, freight cost per unit, damage rates, etc., and drive improvements.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in logistics operations and ensure contingency planning for disruptions.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor s degree in Engineering / Logistics / Supply Chain / Business Administration (MBA or PGDM in Supply Chain is an added advantage)
Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in logistics/supply chain
Experience: At least 5+ years in the two-wheeler automotive industry
Experience: Hands-on experience managing 3PL service providers
