About the Role Our client is a rapidly expanding e-commerce giant looking for a highly competent Logistics Operations Manager to oversee their operations in Patna, Bihar . This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods through our distribution network. You will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory control, and last-mile delivery logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational management and a proven track record of driving efficiency and cost savings. This is an on-site position based in the bustling city of Patna , offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a large-scale logistics operation. Key Responsibilities Manage and direct all warehouse and distribution center operations in Patna . Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee inventory management, including stock control, cycle counts, and order fulfillment accuracy. Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics operations with business objectives. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse. Optimize routes and delivery schedules for the last-mile delivery fleet. Identify and implement technological solutions to enhance operational capabilities. Requirements Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and operations management. Demonstrated experience in managing large warehouse facilities and distribution networks. Strong understanding of inventory management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS). Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in relevant software applications.
