About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Research Manager
We are seeking an experienced Credit Portfolio and Relationship Management professional with 1012 years of experience across credit analysis, portfolio management, and client relationship management within Corporate / Wholesale / Commercial Banking. The role requires solid expertise in credit underwriting, portfolio monitoring, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, along with the ability to support business development and manage teams/workstreams. The incumbent will work closely with relationship managers, credit officers, and product partners to ensure prudent risk management while supporting client growth objectives.
In this role, you will:
Credit & Portfolio Management:
- Manage and monitor a portfolio of corporate borrowers, ensuring ongoing assessment of credit quality and risk exposure
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, including financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling, and risk assessment
- Prepare and review credit appraisals, underwriting memos, and internal credit documentation
- Perform ongoing portfolio surveillance, including covenant monitoring, early warning signal identification, and watchlist reviews
- Support internal and external rating analysis and monitor rating migrations
- Participate in periodic portfolio reviews, stress analysis, and risk reporting
Relationship Management & Business Support:
- Support relationship management teams in maintaining and deepening client relationships
- Participate in internal interactions, renewals, and discussions related to credit facilities and risk positioning
- Balance credit risk considerations with relationship and business objectives
- Partner with product teams to support crosssell and business development initiatives across banking products
- Contribute to client strategy discussions and transaction structuring from a credit perspective
