About the Role We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead a large team and play a key role across Finance Operations, Treasury, and Insurance functions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant management of payables, including processing payouts to marketplace sellers and vendors. You will also play a critical role in managing and optimizing the organizations cash flow, investments, and liquidity. Your responsibilities will span a broad range of treasury activities, including fund management, investment portfolio oversight, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment, where you will be expected to design and implement new systems and processes, maintain smooth financial operations, and support the companys liquidity and long-term financial stability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding product, procurement, legal, and business financeto enhance internal controls, reporting, and automation throughout the accounts payable (AP) lifecycle. Additionally, you will work with financial institutions, banks, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient cash management and compliance with regulatory requirements. What will you do - Finance Operations: - Develop and execute the long-term strategy for the payables function in alignment with organizational finance and procurement goals. - Partner closely with Treasury, Commercial, Tax, and FP&A; teams to enhance working capital efficiency and cash flow forecasting - Collaborate with banks and PA/PG partners to setup best-in-class settlement systems to cater to Meesho scale of operations - Lead initiatives to optimize payment terms, improve DPO (Days Payable Outstanding) - Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations (to marketplace sellers, users and non-trade vendors), ensuring timely and accurate payments for >INR 10000cr leading a team of 6 resources. Lead the month-end activities for these FSLI including proper provisioning - Develop and maintain strong internal controls and risk mitigation strategies - Develop a smart dashboard to monitor invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and resolution of payment discrepancies - Champion the use of analytics, automation, and AI-driven tools to drive efficiency, accuracy, and insight in payables processing - Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the payables lifecycle to reduce costs and streamline operations - Manage key vendor relationships and resolve escalated issues while maintaining service-level excellence and business continuity - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence - Build and lead a high-performing team with a focus on innovation, compliance, and operational excellence - Cash Management Services (CMS): - Manage CMS-related operations including banking arrangements, collection processes, and daily fund tracking. - Coordinate with internal teams and banking partners for efficient cash flow visibility and reporting. - Monitor and optimize fund flow between business units and banks to reduce idle balances. - Treasury: - Lead cash management, forecasting, and optimization across global entities, ensuring productive deployment of cash and intercompany liquidity - Oversee short- and long-term cash flow forecasting, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and investments - Identify and implement treasury technologies and automation tools to streamline cash visibility and reporting - Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure adequate credit facilities and optimal transaction costs - Monitor foreign exchange exposure and explore customised hedging strategies - Lead the insurance team consisting of on-roll and off-roll resources - Insurance: - Design and lead the companys insurance program, including property, liability, cyber, D&O;, marine, business interruption and IPO for a business throughput value of > 50000Cr - Align insurance strategy with enterprise risk management (ERM) and operational risk frameworks. - Assess the companys risk exposure and determine optimal risk transfer vs. risk .
