01Overview
We are seeking an experienced legal professional to support the procurement, supply chain, manufacturing and logistics functions of our wind energy business. The role will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing a broad spectrum of domestic and international procurement contracts, import-related agreements, logistics arrangements, warehousing contracts and strategic supplier engagements associated with the manufacturing, transportation and installation of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs). The ideal candidate should have substantial experience handling complex commercial contracts within industrial manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, renewable energy, automotive, heavy equipment or logistics sectors.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor ContractingDraft, review, negotiate and advise on:
Domestic and international procurement agreements
Purchase agreements and framework supply agreements
Long-term supply contracts
Strategic sourcing agreements
Manufacturing and fabrication contracts
Tooling and development agreements
Quality assurance agreements
Vendor onboarding documentation
Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
Support procurement and sourcing teams in negotiations with domestic and global suppliers.Advise business teams on commercial terms relating to pricing, warranties, liquidated damages, indemnities, limitation of liability, intellectual property rights and termination provisions.Develop standard templates, contract playbooks and negotiation guidelines.Logistics & Supply Chain ContractsDraft and negotiate contracts with Freight forwarders, Transport contractors, Heavy-lift logistics providers, Warehousing and storage providers, Customs handling agentsAdvise on contracts involving transportation of oversized wind turbine components including blades, towers, nacelles and generators.Support negotiation of multimodal transportation and logistics arrangements.Assess allocation of transportation risks, cargo liabilities, delay exposures and insurance coverage.Risk Management & Dispute PreventionIdentify and mitigate contractual, operational and supply chain risks.Advise stakeholders on force majeure, delay claims, supply disruptions and performance failures.Support vendor claim management and dispute resolution.Coordinate with external counsel in litigation, arbitration or recovery proceedings where required.Corporate Governance & ComplianceEnsure procurement and logistics contracts comply with applicable laws and company policies.Support legal compliance relating to anti-bribery, sanctions, ethical sourcing and vendor governance requirements.Conduct contractual risk assessments and provide training to procurement and supply chain teams.Company : Venwind Refex Power Ltd (Strategic Subsidiary of Refex Industries Ltd)
Qualification : LL B / Bachelor of Law
Experience : 7 -10 Years Post Qualification Experience .
