Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Manager Mechanical Maintenance for a leading transformer manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in maintaining manufacturing machinery and utility equipment in a heavy engineering or equipment manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preventive, predictive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance activities for manufacturing machinery and utility equipment.
- Ensure maximum machine availability, reliability, and production uptime.
- Maintain production equipment such as presses, CNC machines, rolling machines, welding equipment, furnaces, EOT cranes, conveyors, and material handling systems.
- Maintain utility equipment including air compressors, DG sets, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, RO plants, STP, ETP, fire hydrant systems, and water treatment systems.
- Plan maintenance schedules, manpower allocation, spare parts inventory, and annual maintenance activities.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring failures.
- Coordinate with production, electrical, civil, and utility teams for smooth plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and ISO/IATF systems.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs, equipment performance, and maintenance costs.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 815 years of experience in plant mechanical maintenance.
- Must have worked in Heavy Engineering, Equipment Manufacturing, Industrial Machinery, Capital Equipment, or Transformer Manufacturing companies.
- Candidates from Sitarganj, Rudrapur, Pantnagar, Haridwar, Kashipur, or other North India locations willing to relocate are preferred.
