Job Purpose
We seek a hands-on Manager of Engineering to lead an engineering team responsible for trading systems development in a high-throughput, low-latency trading environment, having an experience of around 12+ years. The role owns the design and delivery of key platform components, leads experienced engineers, contributes to technical direction, and ensures reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture and system design for high-performance, highly available platform components.
Contribute to the technical roadmap and engineering standards.
Evaluate new technologies to improve scalability and maintainability.
Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams while driving technical excellence.
Manage hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and retention.
Own engineering planning, prioritization, and timely delivery.
Partner with business, product, and operations stakeholders.
Track engineering metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure system reliability, availability, and regulatory compliance.
Support incident response, root cause analysis, and production stability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
12+ years of software engineering experience, including strong C/C++ development on Linux.
2+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
Experience building high-performance, low-latency systems.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, systems programming, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with TCP/IP, multicast networking, multithreading, and real-time systems.
Experience with CI/CD and engineering automation.
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Financial services or exchange domain experience is a plus.
Compensation: Up to 5,000,000.00 per year
