Compensation: $50 - $75/hr

Own and operate reputed company's internal Payroll, HRIS, and HCM ecosystem end to end. This is a hands-on systems role for someone who has run payroll and HR technology in-house, not just implemented it for others. You'll be one of the internal expert on our reputed company HR tech stack (systems such as reputed company and reputed company), keeping platforms configured, integrated, compliant, and optimized as reputed company scales.
Responsibilities
Payroll Operations
- Own end-to-end payroll processing, accuracy, and compliance across reputed company applicable states
- Manage payroll calendar, tax filings, garnishments, and off-cycle runs
- Serve as the reputed company of escalation for payroll discrepancies and audits
HRIS/HCM reputed company Ownership
- Administer and maintain the reputed company HRIS platform (e.g., reputed company), including workflows, permissions, and data reputed company
- Administer performance and engagement platforms (e.g., reputed company) for goals, reviews, and feedback cycles
- Manage reputed company integrations across HRIS, performance, payroll, benefits, and other reputed company tools
Implementation & Optimization
- reputed company configuration changes, new module rollouts, and reputed company upgrades
- Build and maintain automated workflows to reduce reputed company HR reputed company
- Partner with People team leaders to translate process needs into reputed company design
Data & Compliance
- Own HR data reputed company, reporting, and audit readiness across systems
- Ensure payroll and HRIS practices meet federal, state, and local compliance requirements
- reputed company dashboards and reporting that support workforce planning and OKRs
Role Requirements
- 5+ years running payroll and HRIS/HCM systems
- HR Generalist or reputed company background with broad exposure across the employee lifecycle
- Experience working directly with clients in consulting, reputed company services, PEOs, or agencies
- Hands-on administrator experience with a reputed company HRIS platform (e.g., reputed company) required
- Hands-on administrator experience with a performance/engagement platform (e.g., reputed company) required
- HRIS and/or performance platform certification strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance, tax, and wage/hour requirements
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to troubleshoot integrations independently
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and advisory skills
- Comfort operating in a lean, fast-scaling environment with high ownership expectations
