Manager Quality Assurance in Abbott - Meenambakkam, Chennai

Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team to ensure the highest quality standards for all products at Abbott.Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal SOPs, and industry standards.Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to assess and enhance the quality assurance processes.Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the reliability of products.Oversee the management of complaints and non-conformance reports, ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions.Work closely with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, R&D, and regulatory to ensure product quality.Evaluate and improve existing quality systems to ensure they align with the best industry practices.Ensure proper documentation and records of quality-related activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies.Lead investigations into product quality issues and coordinate the implementation of corrective actions.Stay updated on the latest industry trends and quality standards to continuously improve Abbotts operations.

A Bachelors or Masters degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.In-depth knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and other relevant quality standards.Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive improvements.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Experience in handling audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
