## Manager Taxation
### Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager Taxation to join our finance team in Greater Noida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all direct and indirect tax functions, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing strategic tax planning guidance to support business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of Indian tax laws and regulations, along with the ability to liaise with tax authorities and internal stakeholders.
### Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, TDS, income tax, and corporate tax filings
- Prepare and review tax returns, assessments, and related documentation within prescribed deadlines
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization
- Handle tax audits, assessments, and appeals before tax authorities
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies as required
- Provide tax advisory support for business transactions, contracts, and strategic decisions
- Maintain accurate records of all tax-related documents and correspondence
- Assist in transfer pricing documentation and compliance where applicable
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to tax provisions
### Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification preferred
- Prior experience in taxation, with a focus on both direct and indirect taxes
- Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax Act, TDS provisions, and related regulations
- Hands-on experience with tax filing software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Experience handling tax audits and departmental correspondence is an advantage
