Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate in designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end insurance customer journeys for a customer-centric Travel Insurance experience. - Create robust frameworks, business processes, and systems considering product coverages, features, claims-related information, and fraud engines. - Develop detailed standard operating procedures for onboarding, issuance, servicing, claims management, and adjudication. - Work with cross-functional teams including Technology, Product & Actuarial, Marketing, Onboarding, Underwriting, Claims, and Finance. - Collaborate with Sales and Strategy for partnerships and process setup. - Review and process claims, calculate eligible amounts, ensure valid settlements, and approve non-medical claims with fraud prevention approaches. - Coordinate with Third party Administrators for international travel claims and cashless hospitalization. - Manage vendors, partners, and TPAs to ensure a delightful customer experience while maintaining process rigor and SLAs. - Lead, manage, and develop your team, establish clear responsibilities, build a culture of accountability, and enable team members with coaching and structured skills.

Qualifications Required

- 5-6 years of experience in Travel Insurance operations and claims management with at least 2-3 years in a lead or equivalent role. - Expert knowledge of Travel Insurance product features, regulatory requirements, and implementation of comprehensive Travel insurance operations & claims management process. - Familiarity with International Travel Insurance Medical Claims and TPA ecosystem. - Startup experience or setting up a team from scratch is preferred. - Strong decision-making, problem-solving, communication, negotiation skills. - Resilience to manage ambiguity and failure, thrive in collaborative environments, and take full responsibility for team contributions.
