The Pedestals are looking for two sharp, people-loving Market Research Interns for a 2-month, part-time project in the education sector. The role is flexible enough to fit around your classes, so students in final year of any degree or fresh graduates are welcome to apply.This is hands-on work with real fieldwork and real conversations, only apply if you enjoy such a role. What youll do:Speak with people over the phone and in person to gather insightsResearch and gather information that isnt readily available onlineHelp design and run surveys, then help make sense of the responsesTurn field notes into clean, useful findingsWho Im looking for:Excellent communication skills youre comfortable picking up the phone and starting a conversation with a strangerYou genuinely enjoy connecting with people and build rapport quicklyA curious, resourceful researcher who digs until they find the answerOrganised and reliable you do what you say youll doOne intern to be based in Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar area, and another intern based in Surat (this is a must-have requirement, dont apply if you are not currently based in either of these 2 locations)Must be proficient conversing in English, Gujarat and Hindi (all 3 languages) Preferred background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in one of the following (not strict a strong communicator from any field will be considered):BBA / MBA (Marketing, Market Research)Economics, Statistics, or SociologyPsychologyMass Communication / JournalismNice to have:Comfort with Excel/Google SheetsFluency in Gujarati and Hindi alongside English (a big plus)Interest and ability leverage AIDetails:Type: Part-time, flexible hoursDuration: 2 months (fixed engagement)Location: Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar / Surat hybrid, with fieldworkFixed compensationStart: Around July 15, 2026If this sounds like you, apply to this job.
