01Role Overview
As the State Head for Used Car Loans, you will be instrumental in spearheading and expanding MAS Financial Services Ltd's used car financing business across your designated state, covering key markets like Pune, Thane, Chennai, or Bangalore. This pivotal leadership role involves defining and executing strategic initiatives, driving aggressive sales targets, and fostering robust business development partnerships. You will lead and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence and market penetration, ultimately contributing significantly to the company's growth trajectory and market leadership in the used car loan segment.
02Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies to achieve ambitious targets for used car loan disbursements and portfolio quality within the state.- Drive market share growth by identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic alliances with used car dealers, aggregators, and other relevant stakeholders.- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales and operations professionals, setting clear performance objectives, providing ongoing coaching, and ensuring optimal team productivity.- Oversee the entire loan lifecycle, from sourcing and credit appraisal to disbursement and collection, ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk management frameworks.- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine product offerings, pricing strategies, and service delivery for enhanced customer satisfaction and competitive advantage.- Manage the state's P&L for the used car loan vertical, optimizing operational costs and maximizing revenue generation to ensure sustained profitability.- Collaborate closely with credit, operations, and marketing teams to streamline processes, enhance customer experience, and effectively communicate product value propositions.- Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and operational integrity.Required Skillset:- Proven track record of 10-15 years in sales leadership and business development within the financial services sector, with significant experience in used car financing or related asset-backed lending.- Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute successful sales and marketing communications strategies that drive significant business growth and market penetration.- Exceptional team management and leadership capabilities, with a history of building, mentoring, and motivating high-performing sales teams to achieve challenging targets.- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, capable of managing P&L, identifying market opportunities, and making data-driven decisions.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, adept at building lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including dealer networks and customers.- A deep understanding of credit policies, risk management, and regulatory compliance pertaining to vehicle financing.- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is essential; an MBA from a reputed institution is highly preferred.- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, target-driven environment and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state to manage operations and foster business relationships. .
