01Requirements
Education and experience
Diploma with Tool Design / B.Tech in Mechanical Engg.
8+ years of Tool design experience from the manufacturing industry.
Work exposure in BIW is an advantage.
Good knowledge and In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, welding, Drilling & Lean Manufacturing Principles. Good knowledge of Manufacturing and Assembly Process.
Good understanding of Engineering Drawing reading, Drawing and detailing standards.
Good knowledge and skills in digital tools (CATIA/3DX/Process Simulate) in the Virtual area.
Hands-on experience in at least one PLM software (Windchill Preferred)
Skills and Competence:
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Indepth knowledge of Tooling design principles, GD&T & DFM Principles.
Planning and estimation skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. .
