What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Analyze and resolve insurance claim denials for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) supplies
Generate effective written appeals to carriers using reputed company-researched logic
Ensure billing and coding accuracy prior to submitting appeals or reconsiderations
Identify trends and patterns in denials to proactively resolve recurring issues
Collaborate with team members and management on coding and billing challenges
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum three years of experience in DME billing and coding
Experience with collections of insurance claims
Background in Medicare and/or reputed company
Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) processes
High school diploma or GED required
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
EDI reputed company experience is preferred
Strong research and analytical skills with critical thinking abilities
Familiarity with coding and medical terminology
