01Key Responsibilities
Review patient records and assign appropriate ICD and CPT codes.
Prepare and submit insurance claims for home health services.
Verify patient insurance coverage, handle claim denials, and resubmit appeals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer guidelines and billing regulations.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
Certification in medical billing/coding (e.g., CPC) preferred.
Familiarity with home health billing regulations and insurance processes.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in EHR and billing software.
