The role includes tasks such as reviewing and verifying patient medical records for billing purposes, coding diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10 standards, managing denials, handling insurance claims (including Medicare), and ensuring compliance with medical billing standards. The individual will collaborate with healthcare professionals to streamline revenue cycle management processes.QualificationsProficiency in Medical Terminology and understanding of healthcare documentationExperience managing Denials and resolving revenue cycle discrepanciesKnowledge of ICD-10 standards for medical codingFamiliarity with Insurance and Medicare billing processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in data processingEffective communication and collaboration abilitiesFamiliarity with healthcare revenue cycle management tools and software is a plus .
