Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist Ultrasound Services

We are seeking an reputed company Medical Billing Specialist with a strong background in diagnostic imaging billing, specifically ultrasound services. The ideal candidate will have experience submitting claims, resolving denials, and ensuring accurate coding and reimbursement for ultrasound procedures.
Responsibilities
Submit and manage insurance claims for ultrasound services.
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
Review documentation for billing accuracy and compliance.
Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and appeals.
Post payments and reconcile accounts.
Work with providers and staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain compliance with Medicare, reputed company, and reputed company payer guidelines.
Assist with month-end billing reports as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience.
Previous experience billing ultrasound/imaging services required.
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
Experience with EMR/EHR and billing software.
Strong understanding of insurance guidelines and claims processing.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
