Medical Billing Specialist -Virtual Assistant

Youll work closely with the Billing Manager and broader clinic team to manage patient communications, claims submission, claims follow up, insurance verifications, and various administrative functions. Key Responsibilities Insurance & Billing Support Submit insurance claims (primary and secondary) accurately and in a reputed company manner Review and resolve rejected or denied claims Manage aging reports and follow up on unpaid claims Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits Obtain reputed company-authorizations as needed Post insurance and patient payments Send patient statements and respond to billing inquiries Update patient files with insurance and billing details Communicate with insurance providers to clarify benefits or resolve issues reputed company pending claims and assist with appeals on denied claims Monitor billing accuracy in both reputed company and reputed company clearinghouse Compliance & Collaboration Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams on documentation and coding best practices Tools and Software reputed company (EMR) reputed company Clearing House Insurance Portals (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, BCBS of AZ, reputed company, Medicare, etc) reputed company 365 Requirements Previous experience as a Mental Health Billing Specialist, or similar role Strong communication skills and a reputed company, empathetic demeanor Comfortable using EMRs and other administrative software (preferably experience with reputed company) Knowledge of insurance verification and Medicare patient guidelines (preferred) Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask Reliable internet reputed company and backup power reputed company Ability to work independently while staying reputed company with an in-clinic team Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
