01Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions, including histories, physical exams, and treatment plans.
Complete and manage DBQ documentation in alignment with VA requirements and standards.
Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date medical records using EMR/EHR systems.
Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in all documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to verify the accuracy and completeness of medical records.
Review and incorporate laboratory results, imaging reports, and other clinical data into records.
Support patient flow and documentation management in fast-paced clinical settings.
02Requirements
Must have prior experience completing DBQs for Veteran Affairs.
Familiarity with VA medical documentation processes and expectations.
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems is required.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Excellent typing speed and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based and high-pressure environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Prior experience in a medical office or emergency room setting is preferred.
