01Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js ).Build responsive, reusable UI components and front-end interfaces using React.js, HTML5 CSS3 and modern JavaScript (ES6+).Develop secure, scalable REST APIs and backend services in Node.js / Express.js .Work on end-to-end feature development: requirements understanding, technical design, implementation, testing, and deployment.Integrate internal and third-party financial APIs and services.Deploy, monitor, and optimise applications on AWS (e. g., EC2 S3 RDS/Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway) following best practices.Work with MongoDB (and optionally relational databases) for data modelling, queries, and performance optimisation.Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Business teams to deliver features aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, participate in code reviews, and follow standard coding guidelines.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes and improvements.Contribute to documentation (technical specifications, API docs, configuration notes, runbooks).Preferably: Integrate AI services (e. g., LLM APIs, recommendation/analytics APIs, chatbots, embeddings) into existing applications.
02Requirements
1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack / MERN Stack Developer working on live production projects.Experience in taking features from concept to production deployment.Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js .Good understanding of HTML5 CSS, 3 responsive designs, and cross-browser compatibility.Experience building reusable components and managing state (e. g., React hooks, Context API, or Redux).Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js .Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.Good understanding of authentication, authorisation, and common security practices (JWT, OAuth, etc. ).Hands-on experience with MongoDB (schema design, queries, indexing).Basic understanding of relational databases (e. g., PostgreSQL/MySQL) is a plus.Practical, working experience deploying at least one application on AWS.Familiarity with core services such as EC2 S3 RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.Understanding of basic CI/CD concepts and using Git-based workflows.Solid understanding of REST, JSON, and HTTP fundamentals.Experience with Git and standard branching/merge workflows.Ability to debug issues across the stack (frontend, backend, database, cloud).Experience working in fintech / financial services (payments, lending, investments, personal finance, insurance, etc. ).Exposure to AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similar), vector databases, or recommendation systems.Familiarity with TypeScript on frontend and/or backend.Basic knowledge of Docker or container-based deployments.Understanding of OWASP and security considerations for handling financial and personal data.Experience with logging, monitoring, and performance tuning on AWS.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good verbal and written communication.Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.Ownership mindset with attention to detail and quality.Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs. .
