microsoft D365 Functional Tester

Job Title: D365 Functional Tester Experience: 58 Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced D365 Functional Tester with strong expertise in functional testing, end-to-end business-process validation, test planning, defect management, and regression testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on testing experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and/or Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE). Candidates with strong functional testing experience in other enterprise ERP/CRM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or ServiceNow may also be considered. The candidate should be able to independently understand business requirements, create test scenarios, execute test cases, manage defects, and collaborate with development teams with minimal day-to-day supervision. Key Responsibilities Analyze business and functional requirements and identify testable scenarios. Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data. Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing. Validate complete business processes and workflows within D365 F&O and/or D365 CE. Execute test cases and document test results. Identify, log, prioritize, track, and validate defects. Work closely with development teams to investigate and resolve issues. Perform retesting and regression testing after defect fixes. Use Azure DevOps Test Plans, Test Suites, Work Items, and Defect Tracking. Participate in requirement reviews and provide testing inputs. Ensure appropriate test coverage and traceability between requirements and test cases. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when required. Provide regular testing status updates and highlight risks, blockers, and dependencies. Work independently and drive testing activities with minimal supervision. Contribute to test-process improvement and quality initiatives. Required Skills 58 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance. Strong functional testing experience in D365 F&O and/or D365 CE. Experience understanding business requirements and creating detailed test scenarios. Strong knowledge of the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Strong experience in: Functional Testing Integration Testing System Testing End-to-End Testing Regression Testing Retesting Defect Life Cycle Management Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including: Test Plans Test Suites Work Item Management Defect Tracking Experience collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to drive defect resolution and closure. Strong understanding of end-to-end business-process validation. Demonstrated exposure to test automation. Ability to quickly understand new applications and business processes. Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills : Experience testing enterprise ERP or CRM applications such as: SAP Oracle Salesforce ServiceNow Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. Experience with API testing and integration testing. Knowledge of SQL and database validation. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Exposure to CI/CD and continuous testing practices.
