Key Responsibilities
ERP Support &
Administration
Provide day-to-day functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central users across multiple global manufacturing locations.
Serve as a point of contact for Business Central issues, troubleshooting, and user assistance.
Manage ERP security roles, permissions, configurations, and master data governance.
Coordinate with internal IT teams and external partners to resolve system issues and implement enhancements.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to maximize ERP effectiveness.
Business Analysis &
Process Improvement
Collaborate with business leaders and end users to understand operational requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Analyze business processes and translate requirements into functional specifications.
Document current-state and future-state workflows, business requirements, and system solutions.
Lead workshops and meetings to gather requirements and facilitate decision-making.
Evaluate and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and operational performance.
Manufacturing Systems Support
Support manufacturing-related Business Central modules and processes including:
Production Orders
Bills of Material (BOMs)
Routings
Inventory Management
Purchasing
Warehouse Operations
Shop Floor Processes
Costing and Manufacturing Reporting
Partner with operations teams to improve manufacturing workflows and ERP utilization.
Assist in the implementation of best practices for manufacturing planning, execution, and reporting.
Project &
Implementation Support
Participate in ERP implementation, upgrade, integration, and continuous improvement projects.
Coordinate testing activities including unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of system changes.
Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
Support data migration, data validation, and system deployment activities.
Assist in evaluating new Business Central functionality and related Microsoft technologies.
Reporting &
Analytics
Support business reporting requirements using Business Central and related Microsoft tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and improve operational and financial reporting.
Assist with data analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.
3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV).
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of ERP concepts and business processes.
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including production planning, inventory control, procurement, and costing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
Experience supporting multiple companies or international business operations.
Knowledge of Business Central manufacturing modules and advanced warehousing functionality.
Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
Understanding of ERP integrations and data migration processes.
Experience working with third-party Business Central applications and extensions.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications.
Experience supporting global manufacturing organizations.
