01Overview
Job Description:
1.Candidate should have 7+ years of experience in IT systems administration and maintenance.
2.Windows clustering experience with MS Clustering with additional skills regarding HP hardware and clustering metro/site to site clusters using HP XP arrays and Hitachi Raid Manager software.
3.Candidate should have good knowledge of racking, iLO, iDRAC configuration, server OS Installation and Configuration on HP, Dell, IBM Servers.
4.Candidate should have good exposure in updating Servers firmware, BIOS and blade servers hardware.
5.Candidate should have good knowledge in Windows roles and features like AD, Group Policies, OU, FSMO, DNS, DHCP and file servers.
6.Candidate should have good expertise in Windows Clustering implementation and troubleshooting of active-passive, single node/multi node clusters 7.Candidate should have enough knowledge to Install, Configure, upgrade and Implement of VMware Infrastructure.
8.Candidate should have good knowledge to implement of VMWare features like HA, DRS, Storage Policies, Affinity, Anti-Affinity Rules and Disk Provisioning.
9.Candidate should must be aware of VMWare V2V, P2V, vMotion, Storage vMotion, VM Site recovery and Cross VMware functionalities.
10.Identifying & recommending cost-effective solutions and service optimization methods to enhance the productivity and reduce the manual efforts with the help of Scripting (PowerShell).
11.Candidate should have good exposure in server migration tools and techniques such as Quest, Double-Take, PlateSpin, Zerto, resync, ARS, SRM, etc.
12.Familiar with DevOps processes and tools will be added advantages.
13.Experience with public, private, and hybrid cloud migration methodologies will be added advantages like VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, and AWS 14.Basic understanding of Citrix, networking, databases, storage, security and monitoring systems.
15.MCSE, VCP, MCSE- Cloud, AWS-CSA certifications will be added advantage.
16.Strong communication skills in one on one discussions, conference calls, and emails.
17.Candidate must be aware of VMWare V2V, vMotion, Storage vMotion, VM site recovery and Corss VMware Functionalities.
18.Graduate degree preferred .
