Role Description
The Mortgage Loan Officer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bhubaneswar, with the flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for sourcing and qualifying mortgage leads, guiding clients through the loan application process, and explaining loan products and eligibility requirements clearly and accurately. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating borrower financial information, coordinating with underwriting teams, preparing and reviewing loan documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The Mortgage Loan Officer will maintain ongoing communication with clients, provide high-quality customer service, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely loan approvals and smooth disbursements.
Qualifications
- Practical experience as a Loan Officer, with the ability to manage end-to-end mortgage loan processes.
- Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry, including current products, regulations, and market trends.
- Hands-on expertise in Mortgage Lending processes, from application intake to closing.
- Familiarity with Underwriting standards and the ability to interpret eligibility criteria and risk factors.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a client-focused approach and transparent communication abilities.
- Bachelors degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
