01Overview
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough credit evaluations to determine loan eligibility for mortgage applications.
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess borrower creditworthiness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with lenders, brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth loan processing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in underwriting guidelines.
Job Requirements :
- 3-15 years of experience as a Mortgage Underwriter or related field.
- Robust understanding of Credit Evaluation principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Loan Processing software systems (e.g., Lending Tree).
- Excellent logical approach with ability to analyze complex financial data. .
