As an MS IT Infra - Azure Administrator - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure to support seamless operations and availability for clients. Within our Cloud Operations practice, you will focus on provisioning, configuring, and maintaining Azure environments to enhance performance and security. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor junior team members, and uphold professional standards. You will build meaningful client relationships and develop a deeper understanding of the business context, navigating complex situations with confidence.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with Software Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to support cloud-native applications and facilitate smooth deployments. Your responsibilities will include implementing industry-leading practices for cloud-based systems, managing cloud identity and access, and automating routine tasks using Infrastructure as Code tools. You will also focus on cost optimization and security, confirming compliance with standards and conducting vulnerability assessments. Responsibilities
Managing and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure to support seamless business operations Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining virtual machines, containers, and serverless environments Monitoring system performance and resource utilization to proactively address infrastructure issues Implementing cloud networking components such as VPCs, subnets, and load balancers Utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform to define and deploy cloud infrastructure Automating administrative tasks and deployments using scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell Maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for efficient application and infrastructure deployment Designing resilient architecture across multiple availability zones to support business continuity Configuring and managing cloud backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions Monitoring cloud expenditures and implementing strategies for cost optimization Enforcing cloud security practices and compliance standards, including vulnerability scanning and patch management Collaborating with Software Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to support cloud-native applications Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving Tier 2 and 3 support tickets related to cloud infrastructure
What You Must Have
At least a Bachelor's degree At least 5+ years of experience Azure Admin Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
Holding professional cloud certifications like AZ-104 or AZ-305 Migrating on-premises workloads to the public cloud Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices Utilizing configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet Demonstrating proficiency in cloud infrastructure architecture design Excelling in cloud performance optimization and cost management Collaborating effectively with development and QA teams .
