01Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with network architects on network optimization.
- Maintain network security through proper configuration of firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Perform regular network performance tuning, backup operations, and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users and IT staff.
- Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Evaluate and recommend new network hardware and software technologies.
- Manage IP address assignments, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and IT security policies.
