Network Administrator / System Administrator

Company: Exotica IT Solutions Location: Mohali (Work from Office) Experience: 12 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary Exotica IT Solutions is looking for a skilled Network Administrator / System Administrator to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in network administration, system management, troubleshooting, and IT operations while ensuring the security and smooth functioning of the company's IT environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain servers, LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux operating systems, hardware, and software.Monitor network performance, system health, and ensure maximum uptime.Manage user accounts, Active Directory, access permissions, email configurations, and security policies.Perform regular data backups, disaster recovery planning, and system restoration.Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and connectivity issues.Maintain IT assets, software licenses, inventory records, and technical documentation.Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, repairs, AMC renewals, and support.Ensure endpoint security, antivirus management, patch updates, and compliance with IT security policies.Handle day-to-day IT administration, including system setup, employee onboarding/offboarding, and infrastructure support.Required Skills Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is preferred.Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery processes.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and documentation skills.Qualification Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.12 years of relevant experience as a Network Administrator, System Administrator, or IT Administrator.If you are passionate about managing IT infrastructure and ensuring seamless business operations, we'd love to hear from you.
