Network Engineer (Routing & Switching, Palo Alto OR Fortinet OR Juniper)

Role Description Technical Skills: Solid experience in routing and switching Network health checks (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) Coordination with the vendors during network planned maintenance and P1 incidents Must have firewall experience in Fortinet/ Palo Alto/juniper Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning Work within established change management & MIM policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Proven hands-on experience in network technical support Understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS), Incident handling etc. Hands-on experience with ticketing tool, monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tool Extensive technical know-how of network and security devices (Routers, switches, antivirus, firewalls, cryptography, SIEM) and any other security networking hardware or software tools Minimum, two years experience identifying threats and developing appropriate protection measures Reviewing system changes for security implications and recommending improvements Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge implementing, configuring, integrating and supporting major network appliances Knowledge of networking concepts such as WAN connectivity, transport types and protocols, and experience with wireless technology and Wireless deployment for a user base over 500 users per site PaloAlto, Fortinet, Juniper, f5, Cloudflare skill sets Organizational Skills Ability to interact with various levels of management and regions Ability to collaborate with a Global team, share relevant information, seek to convince others, know how to listen effectively and promote a team spirit Client focused and service-minded to truly listen and understand the Voice of the Customer. Strict adherence to process and policies Skills Routing, Switching protocols, Firewall (palo alto/ Juniper/fortinet) .
