01Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Network Security Analyst to join our Security team. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing end-to-end network security operations, from deployment and configuration to continuous monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and optimization of the organization's security infrastructure.
Role & responsibilities
Monitor & Detect: Analyze network traffic, system logs, and system activity for suspicious patterns or intrusions using security tools from our arsenal.
Analyze & Investigate: Examine security incidents, identify root causes, and assess network vulnerabilities.
Audit network devices: Audit network devices (Firewalls,Switches,etc.) to verify that they are in line with our Security Policies and propose changes to further enhance our Security Posture.
Incident & Response: Be part of the Incident & Response team to identify and neutralize threats as they arise.
Research & Advise: Stay updated on new threats and vulnerabilities,
recommending security improvements to management.
Preferred candidate profile
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Security Analyst or in a related Information Security role.
- Robust hands-on experience with Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW) such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, or Cisco ASA.
- Good understanding of network security technologies, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, and VPN.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), routing, switching, and network segmentation.
- Experience in security monitoring, threat analysis, log analysis, and incident response.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud network security concepts, including Security Groups (SGs), inbound/outbound rules, network segmentation, and cloud firewalls (AWS/Azure is a plus).
