ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer with a robust background in cloud security to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing our cloud network security controls, particularly in Web Application Firewall (WAF) tuning and DDo S mitigation across multiple cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our security measures are robust and effective while fostering an environment of continuous improvement and collaboration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement, and improve cloud network security controls.
- Optimize WAF rules to minimize false positives and enhance application security.
- Develop and implement DDo S detection and mitigation strategies while monitoring for anomalies.
- Implement network security safeguards as code using Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) principles.
- Analyze logs and telemetry data to identify abuse patterns and potential threats.
- Define and maintain standards for cloud firewalls, WAF, and DDo S configurations.
- Collaborate with engineering and Dev Ops teams to support security audits and enhance overall security posture.
