New Car Quality Development (NCQD): Responsible for ensuring quality throughout new vehicle development by leading APQP, FMEA, PPAP, supplier quality, testing, root cause analysis, and cross-functional problem solving to achieve defect-free product launches and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement quality plans for new vehicle projects.
- Participate in product design reviews to ensure quality requirements are incorporated.
- Conduct risk assessments using tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
- Coordinate quality activities during prototype, pilot, and mass production phases.
- Investigate quality issues using root cause analysis techniques (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D).
- Monitor and improve vehicle quality through inspections, testing, and validation.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure purchased components meet quality standards.
- Track quality KPIs such as defects, warranty claims, customer complaints, and first-pass yield.
