Overview
As an IT Project Manager with 12-16 years of experience in large-scale enterprise programs, your role will involve working closely with the Program Manager/Director on assigned projects, owning end-to-end project management. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring demand & capacity, resource allocations, and timely & accurate completion of assignments to deliver projects on time, on budget, on scope, and with high quality.
- Having at least 4 years of core project management experience throughout the project life cycle.
- Holding a PMP certification or equivalent training.
- Possessing knowledge of the Healthcare Insurance industry business and operations.
- Managing large, complex projects independently with minimal support and supervision.
- Demonstrating strong leadership, planning, problem management, and resolution skills.
- Excelling in stakeholder management by influencing with calm authority.
- Proactively identifying risks and having experience with an industry-standard software development life cycle.
- Being proficient in customer relationship management and Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Being willing to work in night shifts from 3.00 PM to 12.00 AM.
- US Healthcare experience is advantageous.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Developing project plans, charters, and work breakdown structures.
- Driving project teams towards Delivery Excellence 3.0 best practices and cost-efficient processes.
- Collaborating closely with the Solution team and PMO to ensure timely project launches and deliveries within schedule, scope, and budget.
- Submitting change controls timely and accurately for internal meetings with the PMO and obtaining stakeholder approvals.
- Reporting status updates for assigned projects as required and according to schedule.
- Analyzing risks and initiating avoidance activities, establishing contingency plans, and identifying trigger events for corrective actions.
- Reviewing the actual performance against planned activities and coordinating with project stakeholders.
- Reviewing and auditing special projects for efficiency and effectiveness.
Additionally, you should be comfortable operating in programs with evolving requirements, especially in areas like GenAI and enterprise transformation. Proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and constraints before they become delivery issues, and valuing structure, discipline, and strong governance to create alignment using project artifacts.
