NOC Engineer (Network Operations Center Engineer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and critical IT systems using network monitoring tools.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network, connectivity, and infrastructure issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Escalate critical incidents to appropriate technical teams and track them until resolution.
• Perform routine health checks, preventive maintenance, and system monitoring activities.
• Monitor routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and WAN/LAN connectivity.
• Maintain incident logs, troubleshooting documentation, and daily operational reports.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal support teams during outages and maintenance activities.
• Perform basic configuration changes and support network upgrades when required.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, operational procedures, and security policies.
• Support disaster recovery activities and maintain business continuity standards.
• Participate in shift handovers and provide accurate operational updates.
