Role Overview
As a Node.js Backend Engineer, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic and APIs. You will collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. Your responsibilities will include writing efficient and well-documented code, building and maintaining RESTful APIs, and ensuring the performance and security of backend systems. You will also troubleshoot and debug issues, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Key Responsibility:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using Node.js
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs
- Write unit tests and integration tests
- Ensure the performance and scalability of backend systems
- Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers
- Participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues
- Deploy and monitor applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Implement security best practices
Qualification Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and Node.js
- Experience with Express.js framework
- Experience with database systems like MySQL or MongoDB
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
